Casablanca #3/1987
"Hajens dröm" is a standout entry in the Casablanca series, bringing together Corto Maltese, Tristan Bantam, and Jeremiah Steiner on a journey to Bahia, Brazil, where they seek out Tristan’s half-sister Morgana. Along the way, they encounter Cayenne, a fugitive escaping a French Guiana penal colony, setting the stage for a tense and mysterious encounter in a sun-drenched, politically charged coastal city. Written and illustrated by Hugo Pratt, with coloring by Patrizia Zanotti, this 1987 issue captures the series’ signature blend of adventure and atmosphere, while the cover by Matthias Schultheiss adds a haunting, evocative touch.
