Richard becomes involved in a case of a blind woman trying to determine which of two suitors is an old acquaintance who once saved her life. Further complicating the case is the suspicion of Supt. McLaughlin that one of the suitors is a fugitive criminal from a cold case in which his face was permanently scarred.
