On the Sahara Desert, Yarko is kidnapped by natives and brought to the Ruins of Alchaz, where they are holding and torturing the missing Major Hazlop. While Yarko uses his magical powers to hold back the leader, Sarabin and his men, he also gets a mystical message off to his new-found friend, Detective Burke, who manages to convince the local military post where their Major Hazlop is. The troops arrive just in time to defeat the natives and capture their leader.
