Catwoman #10
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Catwoman #10 promises a tense confrontation as the cover — by Guillem March — depicts Selina Kyle in her sleek black costume, whip at her hip, leveling a large firearm directly at a shadowy, grotesque figure with gnarled green hands and a monstrous visage. The bold tagline "Standoff with Dollhouse!" sets the stakes clearly, and the dynamic composition captures Catwoman mid-struggle, fierce and unyielding against something decidedly inhuman. With Judd Winick writing and March handling both pencils and inks, this 2012 issue looks like a thrilling chapter in Selina's New 52 adventures.
