Catwoman #12

Part of the New 52 initiative, Catwoman #12 plunges Selina Kyle into something deeply unsettling — the cover by Guillem March frames her in her sleek black costume at the center of a surreal, doll-like tableau, flanked by two eerie figures: a 1920s flapper in gold fringe and pearls and a pale, hollow-eyed woman in green adorned with roses and tattoos, all set against a backdrop evoking the Roaring Twenties. The tagline "The Horrors of the Dollhouse!" says plenty about the twisted atmosphere March conjures here. With interiors by Adriana Melo and Júlio Ferreira bringing Judd Winick's story to life, this issue promises Catwoman navigating something far stranger than a simple heist.
