Catwoman #[2]
In "Trickle Down Theory," Catwoman spins a high-stakes web of deception as she negotiates with Crispus Allen, offering incriminating evidence against corrupt cops to clear Holly Robinson’s name—while simultaneously manipulating Xavier Dylan and setting a trap for MacNalty. With tensions rising and secrets unraveling, Selina’s plan hinges on forged evidence, hidden recordings, and a dangerous game of trust that leads to a shocking confrontation. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Brad Rader, with inks by Rick Burchett and colors by Lee Loughridge, the issue’s tense pacing and layered betrayals are perfectly captured in a cover by Michael Avon Oeming.

Selina approaches Crispus Allen and offers him a deal. She'll give him MacNalty and a bunch of bad cops, if he promises to help clear Holly Robinson's name. Selina offers Xavier Dylan the option to pay money to get his diamonds back. She fakes evidence that Officer Rickett is working for a rival mob. MacNalty is sent after Slam Bradley; whose office is bugged by Bradley, Selina, and Allen. They get MacNalty to admit on tape that he shot the narc. Selina busts into the room as things start to get out of hand and MacNaulty is shot. Dylan is revealed to be working for Black Mask.
