Catwoman #31
In "Out of This World," Catwoman wakes up in an opulent Egyptian-style palace, dressed in fine Middle Eastern garb and miraculously healed from a fatal wound. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated with striking detail by Paul Gulacy—whose cover art, inked by Jimmy Palmiotti, captures the story’s exotic allure—Selina finds herself caught in a mysterious ritual where she and Omari, the chosen one of Maahes, are to be wed to unite warring tribes. As she fights her way through guards and magic, the true nature of her captivity begins to unravel, leaving her waking on a train to Gotham with no memory of the past month—only a newspaper headline confirming her disappearance.
