Champion Comics #8 is an anthology featuring multiple superhero stories. "Johnny Fox" by Paul Porter follows a Seminole Indian brave who gains invisibility through a mysterious herbal formula and uses his powers to combat sabotage at a circus, where stench bombs and other disasters have plagued the Big Three Circus. A separate story involving the Liberty Lads features the young heroes retrieving a key to a secret arms cache from Captain Cummings to aid the British forces, after which they distribute extra weapons to help British troops retreat safely. The issue also includes stories starring Duke O'Dowd, The Champ, Neptina, and Jungleman, along with a Robin Hood and Jones adventure where the outlaws trick a posse into a boxcar and escape by train.
