"Cheers" is a 132-page anthology of gags and cartoons featuring various humorous short pieces. Content includes a single-panel gag about a soldier unable to carry his rifle properly because he was formerly a bell hop; a story titled "Yoo Hoo!" about a man named Adami Failure who cannot open his new store because he refuses to put his unfortunate surname on the window; and a cartoon of Chef Pierre Du conducting a cooking broadcast while on the radio. The collection contains numerous one-off jokes and comic vignettes with military, domestic, and absurdist themes typical of wartime humor.
