Chris Welkin Planeteer #1

Chris Welkin, a planeteer, encounters a Martian who claims to be from Mars but lacks typical Martian characteristics, leading Chris to suspect deception. Chris and his companions, including Dr. Buddy, devise a plan involving disguises and a spaceship to transport the impostor and determine his true origin. In a separate story, "Jet Starr," a transport plane experiences engine trouble over the Pacific Ocean and is forced to make an emergency landing, after which Jet Starr and Blacky attempt a daring rescue involving a comet-powered ship to return to Capitol City.
