An anthology of thrilling circus-themed stories, this issue features "Death-Defying Sideshow," in which a murder occurs during a sword-swallower's act and the circus must identify the killer among its own; "King of the Cats," following a circus owner's acquisition of a prized big cat named Caesar and his trainer's journey to deliver the animal; "Belle of the Barebacks," a tale involving circus performers; and "The High Trapeze," a death-defying aerial act story. "Riddle in Sawdust" presents a mystery where a sword-swallower's performance is interrupted by a death in the sideshow, leaving the circus to determine who among them is the murderer.
