Classic Comics #11

Dan Brand and Tipi guide a train of pioneers through the Appalachian Mountains when they make camp for the night, only to encounter a huntress and her men who are after a magical gem belonging to a moon goddess cult; the thieves pursue them seeking the jewel, and Dan and Tipi must navigate the wilderness dangers while the criminals close in from behind. A separate crime story follows a gang of robbers who attempt an elaborate heist, stealing a car and eluding police through the city and into the woods, but their scheme ultimately unravels as the authorities pursue them and betrayals emerge within the criminal group.
