This issue contains an adaptation of "Mortified," a story about Karl, a boy who grows up despising his mother Frau Werner and, as an adult executioner, treats her with cruelty, ultimately refusing to help her in her final years of life. The issue also includes "Curse of Me-Meb!", a mystery involving an Egyptian mummy's curse investigated by police and civilians who discover the mummy of the High Priestess Me-Meb, and "Human Cargo!", a true crime case adapted from the FBI in which two men smuggling people out of Cuba are apprehended by G-Men agents.
