When Aladdin acquires a magic lamp, its Genie brings him wealth and the hand of a princess in marriage, but a sorceror steals the lamp by peddling new lamps for old and transports Aladdin's wife and palace to a remote land. Aladdin's magic ring allows him to restore the palace to its original site. He is re-united with his wife and the sorceror is left wandering in the desert.
