This issue contains four stories: "Scamp!" follows a mischievous red dog's holiday mishaps by the seaside, including encounters with a fortune teller, a Punch and Judy show, and an arcade, culminating in him enjoying ice cream. "Splash Page: The Missing Prince" features the Daily World newspaper office discovering that a hidden Prince Stefan has been kidnapped by villains, leading Splash Page and his associate Jill to search for him across London via various locations. "Buck Jones and the Kid from Dallas" tells of Buck receiving a letter from a lawyer about a prospector named Groucher Garrett, sending him to find a boy in Dallas; when Buck discovers the child has been mistreated by the greedy Groucher, he pursues them across the frontier. "Don Deeds" shows Don rescuing Mai-Mai from the river while battling an underwater threat, only to face further danger from a rolling sphere that chases him through marshland.
