Comics on Parade #50 is an anthology featuring multiple comic strips. "Fritzi Ritz" depicts a young woman enjoying swinging at a playground until a man named Phil repeatedly interrupts her to suggest they go somewhere else, eventually growing frustrated with her love of swings. "Pan-American" presents a biographical account of Thomas Cochrane, an English naval officer who fought in the Chilean War of Independence and later aided San Martín in liberating Peru. The issue also includes various advertisements and stamp collecting offers interspersed throughout.
