With help from the priest Dexitheus, Conan races to stop her—but when Zandra transforms Taurus into a goat, his desperate attempt to reverse the spell leaves him with a goat’s hoof, and a dangerous misunderstanding leads her to target the wrong prince. Written by Alan Zelenetz and Michael Nagula, with art by Dave Simons and inks by Geof Isherwood, the issue’s cover by Ernie Chan captures the eerie intensity of a tale where magic’s price is not yet known.
