Confessions of the Lovelorn #107
In "The Girl No Man Wanted!" from Confessions of the Lovelorn #107 (1959), a wartime scheme between a skeptical sergeant and his WAC girlfriend takes an unexpected turn when genuine feelings emerge. Written by Richard Hughes and illustrated by John Rosenberger, with inks and letters by Rosenberger and Ed Hamilton, the story follows Sgt. Olsen’s cruel test of Albert’s worth—only to see the quiet soldier rise in courage when lives are on the line. The cover, also by Rosenberger, captures the emotional tension of a moment that changes everything.
