Dizzy Duck discovers a hefty book on self defense, boasting it’s packed with useful tricks—until a bully shows up on his block, prompting Dizzy to test the book’s advice in a surprisingly literal way. With a mix of nervous energy and sudden confidence, he tries to apply the techniques, only to find himself in a situation that might be more trouble than the book anticipated.

Cuffy invents a sky hat that lets him fly, only to have it stolen by a scheming duke who plans to use it to seize power in the kingdom of Moronia. After a chaotic chase and a series of mishaps, the boy king recovers the hat and sends Cuffy home, revealing the invention only works once.

Coo Coo tries every imaginable way to travel south for the winter, from plane and train to boat, only to end up at the South Pole after a series of misadventures. Determined to escape the cold, he attempts to hitch rides on various vehicles, each more absurd than the last, before realizing he might have been better off flying with the birds.

Butch and Buttercup are determined to sneak into Cyril Van Swank’s birthday party to feast on a massive cake, but their plan goes awry when they accidentally destroy the cake and are captured by the bakers from Zilch Bakeries. As they’re chased through the bakery, the duo narrowly escapes, only to discover the replacement cake may have a surprising secret.
