Returning from the Spanish-American War, Ted and Chuck find their families in a range war over rustling. The real rustlers try to divert the ranchers by framing Ted as a member of their gang, but Ted leads the others to Nick's rustlers. Nick kills Ted but Chuck avenges his best friend's death by shooting Nick.
