This anthology issue contains three stories: "Denis Rouble—A Story of the Texas Rangers," featuring a mounted confrontation with outlaws and a train robbery; "Denver Mudd and Bushey Barns," a humorous tale where Sheriff Denver Mudd is absent during an election speech, leaving his deputy Bushey to face down the opposing candidate's supporters; and "Legends of Paul Bunyan," which depicts the famous lumberjack telling stories of logging in the North Woods. The issue also includes a story involving Jesse James and a bank robbery, and one featuring Annie Oakley in action with her rifle.
