“Flyin' United!”

In "Flyin' United!", the Coyote, Scorpio Rose, and Djinn team up in a high-stakes mission to thwart Gorbachev and the Shadow Cabinet’s plan to replace Reagan with a clone. With illusions, betrayals, and a shocking moment when Halfdome shoots his own arm off in a failed ambush, the trio races against time in a surreal, politically charged showdown. Written by Steve Englehart and illustrated by Chas Truog, with inks by Frank Springer, colors by Petra Scotese, and letters by Tom Orzechowski, this 1986 Marvel issue features a bold cover by Truog and ends with unexpected alliances forming — including a new bond between Coyote, Slash, and Coyote Woman, and Scorpio Rose finding connection with Djinn.
