Crack Comics #16 is an anthology featuring multiple heroes. "The Black Condor: The Man Who Flies" depicts the hero battling a sunken U-boat; with aid from thousands of fish, he raises the vessel to the surface to prevent enemy forces from retrieving it. In "Alias the Spider," the Spider confronts a villain plotting to exploit a young heir and throw the girl into a dark pit, but rescues her and thwarts the criminal scheme. "The Clock" features the hero investigating a legend in Mu involving bearded Hindu men seeking bloodstones; Stanton battles the criminals and their leader, ultimately shooting them down as they attempt to escape.
