Cracked Collectors' Edition #73
In "More Combined Movies," John Severin delivers a delightfully twisted twist on classic fairy tale tropes, with the Seven Dwarfs facing off against a surprisingly villainous Dracula—Snow White’s stepfather—after he poisons her with a cursed apple. When Dopey’s misinterpreted errand leads him to bring a steak instead of a stake, the Dwarfs’ plan unravels in hilarious fashion, only to end in a shocking magical reversal. The story’s absurdity is perfectly matched by Severin’s sharp, expressive art, while Bob Fingerman’s cover captures the chaotic spirit with a bold, stylized take on the tale’s final, mushroom-filled twist.

The Dwarfs find that Snow White's wicked stepfather, Dracula, has poisoned her with an apple. They resolve to stake him through the heart. When they finally confront the Count, however, they realize Dopey (left to procure the stake) misunderstood and has brought a steak. The brief tale ends with the Seven Dwarfs turned into (talking) mushrooms by Dracula's dark magics.
