The second volume of Jean-Luc Deglin's charming Dupuis series delivers more feline mischief, its clean white cover featuring a silhouetted black cat reaching one paw skyward with wide, curious eyes — a little rascal mid-swipe, surrounded by delicate blue pawprints. It's a wonderfully simple image that captures the playful, slightly chaotic energy suggested by the title ("Crapule" being French for "little scoundrel").
