Creepy Worlds #240
In "Muggsy's Masterpieces," orphan Tommy Troy stumbles into a haunted house of "wizards" after overhearing crooks, only to discover a fly ring that opens a portal to Turan, a being from the devolved Fly People—a race of super-advanced beings seeking a champion to fight crime and greed. With powers of wall-walking, super-strength, and omnidirectional sight, Tommy becomes the costumed hero The Fly, delivering justice to the crooks before returning to his true self. Written by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, with art by Kirby and inks by Simon and Kirby, and a cover by Simon, this 1987 issue from Alan Class delivers a quirky, pulpy adventure with a distinctive visual flair.
