Crime Detective Comics v2 #2 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. Another story, "Under the Robe," is set in 1473 Italy and involves Alessi Corsi, a wealthy jewel merchant, who plans to disguise himself as a troubadour to escape bandits blocking his journey to Florence, while confiding his secret to his twin brother. A third story involves a bank detective investigating missing money at a financial institution, suspecting an inside man among the staff including Homer Haskins, the cashier.
