Petty crook Ernie Wicker decides to move up to the big time and recruits an ex-con safecracker—known only as Doc—fresh out of prison, aiming to pull off a major jewelry store heist. But Ernie has his own plans for the take, and when a third accomplice enters the picture, loyalties and double-crosses begin to unravel on the dark docks and in the shadows of a high-security job.
