Private investigator Chip Gardner accepts a Florida assignment from Arthur Ludwig to investigate some murky local investments, but arrives to find his client caught in a dangerous web of fraud and intimidation—mobsters are running an ostrich farming scheme that Ludwig is desperate to escape.
