Crime Mysteries #8 is an anthology featuring "Death Stalks the Crown," in which Prof. Zarno, an evil scientist, uses a magical portrait and mind-control powers to manipulate a prince's brother into murdering the prince so he can inherit the kingdom's wealth. The issue also includes another story involving a woman with infrared film in her camera exploring a mysterious castle, where she encounters a ghostly female inhabitant and discovers a supernatural rider haunting the ancient ruins.
