# Crimes Incorporated #12 Synopsis This issue contains two stories. The first concerns two criminals, Sad Eye Tobias and Bo Ardlum, who are caught in a burning armored car during a robbery and subsequently apprehended; they are later found guilty of murder in the first degree and executed. The second story features a man named Louis Bandolo who kills a girl and attempts to use a portrait painting of her as leverage over her friend Margherita, threatening to destroy the painting unless Margherita agrees to be with him; when Margherita's fiancé John learns of this plot, he confronts Bandolo and the criminal is caught in an explosion while trying to prevent John from rescuing the painting, ultimately leading to Bandolo's death. The final sequence reveals that John intends to complete a new portrait of the girl for Margherita, and he promises to finish it the following day before heading home in the rain.
