The Crimson Avenger escapes from the police and returns as Lee Travis to inquire at the autopsy of the murder victim. Later, the offices of his newspaper are bombed in retaliation for his anti-Nazi editorials. Following a clue, he boards a train for San Francisco, encountering more suspicious characters and fighting off a sudden attack.
