Garry Brown's cover for this second issue of Steve Orlando's Crude plunges readers into a shadowy, wire-tangled alleyway where a battered, bare-chested man lunges forward with a blood-soaked blade — every line of his scarred frame radiating barely contained fury. Lee Loughridge's moody blue palette makes that splash of red blood pop with unsettling contrast, giving the whole scene a cold, dangerous edge that perfectly suits this Image/Skybound thriller. If the first issue pulled you in, this one makes it clear the tension is only ratcheting higher.
