In "Where Monsters Dwell," a disgruntled scientist uses a mysterious projector to send his enemies to a hostile other world, marking the portal’s location with a glowing light. When one of the victims returns, desperate to escape, he seizes the device and sends the scientist through—only to be torn apart by the creatures beyond. Now trapped with the beam still active, the survivor faces a chilling choice: turn it back on and risk unleashing the monsters upon his world, or shut it off and abandon the others to their fate. The story ends with him staring into the light, asking the reader, “What would you do?”
