The Silver Surfer takes the heads of Damage Control into the farthest reaches of space to take a meeting with the most powerful cosmic entities in the universe. They command Edifice Rex to appear before them and justify his use of the powers he has obtained. Rex tells them that he has discovered that the universe is a very messy place and he plans on putting all of reality back into the Cosmic Egg from which it sprung. After returning to earth, Damage Control gathers an awesome roster of earth's heroes to face off with Rex but John Porter has a simple idea to stop Rex in his cosmic tracks.
