In "Sightless, in a Savage Land!", Matt Murdock finds himself stranded in the wilds of the Savage Land after a pirate attack strands him there. Taken captive by the Plunderer, he’s rescued by Ka-Zar, who recognizes the Daredevil costume as a remnant of a past encounter with the X-Men.
