Daredevil: Cruel and Unusual #[nn]
In "Sympathy for the Devil," Matt Murdock faces a moral maze as he tries to convince death row inmate Big Ben Donovan—despite Donovan's own claims of guilt—that he didn't commit the murder for which he's sentenced. As Matt and Dakota uncover a web of threats from both criminal factions and federal agents, the tension escalates when Donovan attempts to take his own life. Written by Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka, with striking artwork by Michael Lark and inks by Stefano Gaudiano, the issue unfolds with quiet dread and sharp psychological depth. The cover, by Marko Djurdjević, captures the weight of the moment with stark, haunting precision.
