“Redemption Part 4”

In "Redemption Part 4," Daredevil’s efforts to aid a young man accused of murder take a troubling turn when his well-intentioned actions backfire. With Matt Murdock securing communication tools for the defendant’s paralyzed father, the old man’s silence only deepens the mystery—just as the town of Redemption Valley prepares for a fiery book burning, Daredevil finds himself on the wrong side of a mob’s fury. Written by David Hine and illustrated by Michael Gaydos, with colors by Lee Loughridge and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Cory Petit, the issue builds tension with a stark, grounded confrontation. The cover, by Bill Sienkiewicz, captures the gathering storm.

DD does more harm than good in trying to help Matt's defense of a young man accused of murder. Matt is able to procure equipment to allow his defendant's paralyzed father to communicate but the old man refuses to provide an alibi for his son. As the town of Redemption Valley gathers for a good old fashioned book burning, DD shows up and is threatened with being stoned by the whole gathering.
