Dark Avengers #8
In "Utopia Part 5," the tension peaks as Norman Osborn's grip on the West Coast tightens, but the real X-Men break free and X-Force fights to stop the atrocities committed by Dark Beast and Weapon Omega. With Emma Frost and Namor exposing their true allegiance, they join Cyclops on the new Utopia platform in San Francisco Bay, while Norman rallies his forces for a final confrontation. Written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Luke Ross, with inks by Rick Magyar, Mark Pennington, and Ross himself, and colors by Dean White, this pivotal issue—featuring a cover by Mike Deodato Jr.—pushes the stakes higher in the fractured mutant war.
