Dark Ivory #1
In "Book One: Blue Blood, Chapter One: A Kiss in the Dreamhouse," high schooler Ivory—cool, slightly goth, and quietly observant—navigates family tensions and a restless night out, finding herself drawn into a strange, pulsing world after a chance encounter with the enigmatic Xander. Written by Joseph Michael Linsner and Eva Hopkins, with full art and color by Linsner and Hopkins, and lettered by Jeff Eckleberry, the issue blends intimate teen drama with a creeping sense of the uncanny, all rendered in a moody, stylized aesthetic. The cover by Joseph Michael Linsner captures the story’s dreamlike dread in sharp, shadowed detail.
