“The Monster's Ghost”

In "The Monster's Ghost," Dr. Frederick Hansen and his expedition venture into the Gobi Desert, drawn by the legend of Genghis Khan’s lost tomb. What they uncover is more than ancient ruins—a cryptic scroll awakens the Mongol emperor and his long-dead horde, setting a chilling fate in motion. With Judith, the doctor’s daughter, marked as the emperor’s bride, the line between myth and menace blurs. Lou Cameron’s moody art brings the eerie desert and supernatural threat to life, while Wally Wood and Joe Orlando’s striking cover captures the story’s haunting tension.
