Sivana steals Shazam's magic lightning to power himself up and weaken Captain Marvel. After he imprisons Captain Marvel at the Rock of Eternity, Sivana decides to eliminate the only threat left to him: Superman. Accidentally arriving on Earth-2, he leaves the original Superman on a Kryptonite meteor before heading to Earth-1 to lure Superman there into another Kryptonite trap. But with the encouragement of his Elders, Captain Marvel escapes his imprisonment and saves Superman, who frees his doppelganger, and wakes Shazam, who removes Sivana's powers.
