Hal et Carol se retrouvent, mais ils sont interrompus par la Justice League qui veut savoir ses intentions pour Coast City et Guy Gardner qui rejette son ADN vuldarien. John Stewart attaque la JLA, et pour l'arrêter Hal redevient le Spectre. Pendant ce temps, Guy sort de son coma et reçoit une copie de l'anneau en possession d'Ollie, ce qui lui permet de redevenir un Green Lantern. Ailleurs, Kilowog affronte Kyle Rayner, à la recherche du cercueil dans le vaisseau, mais le cercueil est gardé par Ganthet, qui proclame que le corps de Hal Jordan est sous la protection des Gardiens.
