Deathstroke leads Damage and Blue Devil on a mission to restore Batman's body to life by using a Lazarus Pit. The mission fails and Damage and Blue Devil are lost, however Azrael is restored by the Pit instead and joins Slade's forces. As the Council of surviving humans led by Constantine tries to determine their next steps, they are unaware that vampires are infiltrating their base.
