Dead-Eye Western Comics #6

This anthology issue contains two Western stories. The first follows a cavalry officer's interactions with his troops and Colonel, involving a discussion about the Colonel's wife and a transaction with money meant for the relatives of dead dropper soldiers. The second story, "Horses Don't Forget," depicts Battle Cry, a loyal cavalry horse whose master (a Colonel) is shot and knocked from his saddle by a Sioux warrior named Rain Death; determined to help his fallen Colonel, Battle Cry attempts to escape capture and locate his wounded master, ultimately choosing to join the outlaw Indians attacking Army outfits in the desert rather than abandon the Colonel.
