Dead-Eye Western v1 #7

The issue contains at least two stories. In the first, raiders led by Berne ambush miners along a ravine and trap them between walls of burning pitch, but the miners escape and the bandit gang is caught in their own trap. In a second story, Bill Stratton becomes increasingly mentally unstable while working on a building construction project, suspecting foul play and obsessing over gold in nearby Cripple Creek; when offered an opportunity to seek the gold with his coworker Mike, he accepts and they set out to find it. A brief "Roped!" segment demonstrates a cowboy's roping technique in sequential comic panels.
