Deadpool #1

Oct 1998 · Panini France · 23 FRF; 167 BEF; 6,90 CHF
“Deadpool en ligne !”

"Deadpool en ligne !" kicks off with the Merc with a Mouth back from a Bolivia mission—armed with revolutionary cash and a grudge against Patch. When his next gig in Antarctica brings him face-to-face with Sasquatch and a dangerously melting gamma core, Deadpool’s usual chaos takes an unexpected turn toward heroics. Written by Joe Kelly and Geneviève Coulomb, with bold art by Ed McGuinness and dynamic inks by Nathan Massengill and Jim Lee on the cover, this 1998 issue blends absurd humor with high-stakes action, all in a 6,90 CHF package.

After assisting a revolution in Bolivia (and getting paid in revolutionary bucks), Deadpool heads back to merc central to have words with Patch. Deadpool’s next mission takes him to Antarctica to tangle with Sasquatch and blow up a gamma research station in the process. Finding out that the melting gamma core will irradiate the entire southern hemisphere, Deadpool fixes the problem and saves the day. Deadpool is approached by Zoe and Noah and offered a position with Landau, Luckman and Lake but he quickly turns them down as being a good guy isn't exactly his style.
