Deadpool #13
In "Wave of Mutilation Part 1: Profiteerin' L.A.M.F.," Deadpool—fresh from a self-inflicted headshot—imagines a swashbuckling new life, outfitting a gunboat with a parrot named Hydra Bob and sailing to the resort island of Jallarka for some high-seas hijinks. But his piratical dreams are cut short when he docks to scout the beach and finds his ship stolen by actual pirates. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Shawn Crystal, with inks by John Lucas and colors by Lee Loughridge, the cover by Jason Pearson captures the absurdity in full swing.

After shooting himself in the head, Deadpool has a vision of turning himself into a pirate and buys a small boat which he has outfitted with many big guns. With Hydra Bob along as the ship's parrot, Deadpool heads to the resort island of Jallarka to do a little plundering. While he is on shore being annoyed by the tourists and getting the lay of the land (but NOT the lay of the blind girl in the information booth), Deadpool discovers that his pirate ship has been stolen by, well, other pirates.
