“One of Us Part 3: The Last Refuge of a Scoundrel”

In "One of Us Part 3: The Last Refuge of a Scoundrel," Deadpool executes a brutal, fast-moving mission on Fury’s orders—turning on the Skrulls he was supposedly allied with. As his own body begins to fail, the cancer in his system triggers a cascade of chaos, collapsing the Skrull clones he’s been using. With vital Skrull data in hand, Deadpool sends the intel to Fury—only for it to be snatched by a shadowy figure in the shadows: Norman Osborn. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Paco Medina, with inks by Juan Vlasco, colors by Marte Gracia, and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Cory Petit, this 2008 issue features a cover by Clayton Crain.
