“I'm Not So Me as You Think I Am... (Or The Middle of the End...)”

In "I'm Not So Me as You Think I Am... (Or The Middle of the End...)", Joe Kelly and Pete Woods lead a mind-bending showdown between Deadpool and T-Ray, as their brutal clash unfolds across fractured memories. Flashbacks reveal a haunting past where Deadpool and his wife, Mercedes, once lived a peaceful life—until their act of mercy toward T-Ray spiraled into tragedy. The revelation that Deadpool may have been the one to kill Mercedes shakes the very foundation of his identity. Art by Pete Woods, David Brewer, and inks by Rebecca Shelander, Rich Perrotta, and Larry Mahlstedt bring the psychological tension to life, with color by Shannon Blanchard and lettering by Richard Starkings and Comicraft. The cover by Pete Woods captures the eerie, fractured essence of the story.

Deadpool and T-Ray relive the past as they battle for all the marbles. In Deadpool's memories, he and his wife, Mercedes, were living a normal and ideal life when they saved T-Ray from death and were repaid when the villain brought violence into their home. Much to Deadpool’s surprise, however, T-Ray reveals that he isn't the one who killed Mercedes Wilson; Deadpool did.
